Mike Baehl started Mike’s Oilfield Services  in 1979 with one pressure truck and with his commitment to quality and competitive service.  The company has experienced steady growth. Today,  Mike’s Oilfield Services has a fleet of trucks that include five pressure trucks, three foam truck units and five air units.  In addition, Mike’s has added two chemical units, along with one potable water truck for fresh drinking water and five tank trucks (three with pups).  At present, Mike’s employs approximately twenty-five full time employees.  The field staff keeps current with up to date tickets in WHMIS, H₂S ALIVE, FIRST AID, TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods), G.O.D.I. & H.O.S. (Hours Of Service) & Fatigue Management.

Mike’s Oilfield Services  includes an oil and gas chemical division that currently supplies the oil and gas industry with an up todate inventory of Univar Canada Ltd. commercially rated chemicals.  Some of the more popular items that are kept in inventory here in Lloydminster’s head office include Mike’s Deicing Fluid, Mike’s Enviro Deicer and Mike’s Citrus Degreaser.
